Strategic Direction & Goals
MHCDO's
strategic direction for 2008 focuses on strengthening the organization's
relationship with Ward 7, our delivery of quality programs and
services, and our capacity for high performance. Following
are our major goals for 2008:
Goal
I: MHCDO will ensure that its infrastructure and systems, staff capacity and board capacity are sufficiently developed to advance the strategic direction and accomplish the mission.
Goal
II: MHCDO will increase its visibility in the region and annually raise $500,000 new dollars to support its new strategic direction.
Goal
III: MHCDO will sustain a positive reputation and effective working relationships with key civic and community leaders in Ward 7.
Goal
IV: MHCDO will stimulate business development and expand and sustain the supply of safe, quality and affordable housing by securing maximum financing from public and private investment in Ward 7.
Goal
V: MHCDO will assist at least 2,500 customers and they will demonstrate an increased level of economic self-sufficiency.
