We provide the several Housing Programs for the citizens of Washington D.C., Ward 7.  The following are a list of the programs which are available:

MHCDO believes that safe, clean and affordable housing is critical to the stability and prosperity of families and neighborhoods in Washington DC, and specifically Ward 7.  We participate in the renovation and building of homes, educating and assisting aspiring homeowners, and helping individuals and families to stabilize their housing situations through counseling services and supportive housing.

In September 2003, MHCDO released “Housing For All: An Affordable Housing Action Plan for the District of Columbia’s Ward 7”. The document is the result of the three-month collaboration with The Annie E. Casey Foundation to identify and prioritize housing needs in Ward 7 neighborhoods, and to establish strategies and partnerships to address those needs.
