Individual Development Account Program 

The Individual Development Account Program is offered through the Homebuyers Club to help HBC graduates who are buying a home to pay for settlement costs.

Those who meet income and household requirements may open an IDA account at a specified local bank with an initial deposit of $400.  IDA participants will develop a savings plan to reach a savings goal.  Each month that the IDA participant reaches his/her savings goal, MHCDO will match $2 for every $1 saved by the IDA participant.
